Kirchengemeinden und Kooperation
Under this title stood this year's Curators' Day of the Evangelical Church A.B. in Romania. Fifty curators took part in this conference, as well as guests from home and abroad.
The programme began with a church service in the Church of St John in Hermannstadt, led by the District Dean and Town Pastor Bruno Fröhlich. The musical accompaniment during the service was provided by the National Church Music Director, Jürg Leutert. The traditional word of reconciliation was spoken by the parish curator of Deutsch-Weißkirch, Walter Fernolend.
The focal points of the day were new paths and priorities for parish life and its administration. On these points, EKR Chief Advocate Friedrich Gunesch and the Kronstadt District Church Curator Ortwin Hellmann addressed the gathering.
Attending the conference were the former Bishop D.Dr. Christoph Klein, former National Church Curator Prof. Dr. Paul Niedermaier, and the chairwoman of the Federal Association of Homeland Community Organisations (HOG) from Germany, Ilse Welther.
The Curators' Day concluded with a closing devotion, delivered by National Church Curator Prof. Friedrich Philippi.
